Running real businesses today, from trailers to healthcare

One system.
Every business.

The fully integrated OS that replaces the separate tools you pay for.

Products, services, appointments or rentals. Opensign builds your website and online store, takes bookings and payments, puts you on Google, Facebook, Instagram and the marketplaces, and runs the back office. One login, one set of records, shaped to your business.

The OPEN sign in the window was how a business told the street it was ready. Opensign does that for the internet: one system that runs the business and puts it everywhere buyers look.

One system, one bill

Stop paying to do the same job four times

Most businesses pay for a website builder, an inventory or booking program, a CRM, service or job software, a texting app, a review tool and a listing service. None of them share a customer list, so every price change, new item and sold-out gets typed in four places. Opensign is the fully integrated OS that replaces that stack: one login, one bill, and you change it once.

One set of records, not five

The list your staff works from is the list your website shows. Products, services, prices, stock and open times change in one place, and the site reads those same rows, not a copy of them.

Publishing is just saving

Set a product or service Active and it is on your site, in the sitemap and in the feeds. If nothing on the site links to it, the editor says so and offers the fix. There is no export step and no publish queue.

Every channel follows

Feeds regenerate from the catalog on a schedule, and a daily heartbeat re-touches offers so they cannot expire. Merchant Center health is read back destination by destination, naming the product and the field holding it up.

One record publishing to eight places A single record on the left connects by eight lines to your website, Google Business Profile, Google Shopping, Google Local Inventory, Facebook and Instagram, Bing, eBay and Facebook Marketplace. No export, no publish queue, no nightly job. Every destination reads the record you already saved.

Eight places, one save

Saving a product, a service or a unit is the whole publishing workflow. Everything below reads from that one record.

  • Your own websiteProducts, services, booking, guides and pages on your own domain.
  • GoogleBusiness Profile, Search, Shopping, free listings, Local Inventory and Local Services Ads leads. Dealers also get Vehicle Listings, one row per VIN.
  • Facebook and InstagramA catalog feed for Meta, plus the posts and messages that come back.
  • Bing, eBay and Facebook MarketplaceFeeds and marketplace channels, with a fee guard on eBay so nothing lists in a paid category by accident.

One platform

Get seen. Get booked. Get paid. Run the rest.

Most businesses rent five or six tools that never talk to each other: a website builder, a booking app, a card reader, a review service, a texting service and a spreadsheet. Opensign is one system that does all of it, from the same records.

Your website and online store

Your own site on your own domain: pages, products, services, guides, a sitemap and site search. Change a price or a service and the site already shows it.

Online booking and appointments

Customers pick a service and a time on your site. You set the hours, the staff and the rules. Reminders go out before the visit.

Payments, deposits and memberships

Take cards online and in person. Send a pay link by text. Take a deposit on something big, or bill a membership every month.

Seen on Google, Meta and the marketplaces

Google Business Profile, Search, Shopping, Merchant Center and Local Services Ads leads. Facebook and Instagram. eBay and Facebook Marketplace.

Reviews, texting and one inbox

Two-way texting, email, calls and web leads land in one shared inbox against the right customer. Review requests go out after the job, only to people who said yes.

Know which ad paid off

Every order and booking is traced back to the ad, search or post that brought it in. You see which ad produced which dollar, not what the ad platform says about itself.

The full back office

Orders, inventory, purchasing, service and work orders, scheduling, invoicing and reports. An AI assistant drafts replies and answers questions about your own numbers.

Nothing to patch

Opensign runs on Cloudflare. There is no server in your building, nothing to update on a Sunday, and backups that run and check themselves every night.

You name it, we build it

Every business is shaped differently. We set Opensign up around the way you already work, and build what your business needs that it does not do yet.

Industries

Built for any business, service or product

Opensign started in a trailer dealership. The same system now runs very different businesses, because getting seen, getting paid and running the back office work the same way whatever you sell.

Retail and parts sellers

A counter and a website that share one catalog. Local inventory on Google, shopping feeds, marketplaces and reordering that knows your supplier lead times.

Dealers

Trailer, marine, powersports and auto. Serialized units by VIN, deposits that hold a unit, title paperwork, vehicle listings and a service shop.

Home and field services

Contractors, cleaners, HVAC and handyman. Quotes with a pay link, scheduled jobs, work orders, texting with the customer and reviews after the job.

Appointment businesses

Clinics, salons and studios. Online booking, payments at booking, reminders before the visit and a shared inbox for questions.

Property management

Rentals listed online, leases on file, rent collected by card or bank on the due date, and reminders to tenants.

Don’t see yours?

If you sell it, we can get it seen. Tell us what you sell and how you work today, and we will show you how it would run on Opensign.

Running today

Real businesses run on it every day

Opensign is not a pitch deck. These businesses run their website, their payments and their back office on it right now.

AAA Trailer

A Michigan trailer dealership with a retail parts counter, a service shop and an online store. Opensign was built here, and it runs here every day.

A licensed healthcare practice

Online booking, HSA- and FSA-eligible payments, and appointment reminders, on the practice’s own website.

Crown Property Services

Property management and rentals: listings, tenants, rent collection and the messages in between.

Real screens, not a mock-up

Everything below is the furnished demo business — a fictional Ohio trailer and parts store with a full catalog, orders, service tickets, message threads, feeds and reports. You get your own login to it. Your own setup is shaped to what you sell.

Opensign · Inbox
The Inbox: a thread list on the left with triage chips for needs reply, missed, over SLA and drafts; a customer conversation in the middle mixing texts and order events; and on the right the customer's lifetime spend, order count and recent orders. At the bottom of the thread an AI draft reply sits in a dashed box marked not sent, with Send, Edit first and Dismiss buttons.
Texts, calls, email and web leads in one thread list. The assistant drafts; a person sends.
Opensign · Orders
The Orders ledger with counters for orders placed, items ordered, ordered value and refunded, then filter chips for open balance, paid, unfulfilled, special orders, ready for pickup, drop-ship, online, marketplace and POS sale, over a table of orders showing payment, fulfillment and delivery state.
Web, counter, phone and marketplace in one ledger with one numbering scheme.
Opensign · Fulfillment
The Fulfillment ship queue holding only orders with something to ship — three orders waiting, each with its delivery method, item lines and an Open and pack button.
Pack into a carton profile, pull live carrier rates, buy the label. Tracking posts back to the order.
Opensign · Purchasing · Forecaster
The Forecaster scoring the catalog into tiers — critical, urgent, buy soon, seasonal, overstock, dead — over a table of parts with their demand class, lead time and recommended order quantity, grouped so each supplier gets its own purchase order.
The analysis arrives as draft purchase orders grouped by supplier, quantities already worked out.
Opensign · Reputation

Reviews on your own pages, moderated by you. The ratings belong to you.
Your website — home

Today’s money, what is ready for pickup, what is unfulfilled, what is owed — one strip of live numbers over a single needs-attention feed.

Runs by itselfTiles recompute off live tickets. A sale rings a chime at the counter the moment it clears.

Inbox

Texts, calls, email and website leads in one thread list, one customer per row. Chips across the top are the triage: needs reply, missed, over SLA, drafts.

Runs by itselfA missed call gets a text back within a minute of hanging up, day or night.

Inbox · AI replies

The assistant drafts from your business’s own knowledge — hours, policies, services, the live catalog and the customer’s own history. It sits in a box marked not sent.

Runs by itselfDraft mode is the default and it never sends on its own. Every send is logged against the person who approved it.

Register

Scan or search, tap the item, attach a customer, take the tender — card, cash, check or on account. Cash drawer with pay-ins, pay-outs, blind close and a Z-report.

Runs by itselfStock, the customer ledger, the day’s numbers and the print queue all move off one tap.

Orders

Web, counter, phone and marketplace in one ledger. Same numbering, same refunds, same tracking, plus a cancel that voids labels before it touches money.

Runs by itselfA checkout on the site writes the order, reserves the stock and files the payment record with nobody re-keying it.

Fulfillment

A ship queue that only holds orders with something to ship. Pack into a carton profile, pull live rates, buy the label. Holds and a daily cutoff keep promises honest.

Runs by itselfRates quote off the real parcel weight, and the customer’s tracking notification goes out on its own.

Quotes & big-ticket deals

Every quote carries a public, signed pay link. On a unit that link takes a deposit; on parts it takes the balance.

Runs by itselfThe deposit clears, the unit is reserved and the balance order is created — from the customer tapping a link on a phone.

Booking & appointments

Services, staff, hours and rules you set. Customers book a time on your website and can pay at booking. Visits land on the schedule beside every other job.

Runs by itselfConfirmations and reminders go out before the visit with nobody sending them.

Payments & memberships

Cards and bank payments online and in person, pay links by text, deposits, invoices and recurring memberships or rent, all posting to the same customer record.

Runs by itselfA recurring charge bills on its date and the payment files itself against the right customer.

Customers

Contact, consent flags for text and email, notes, follow-ups, the full message thread, and every order, booking and work order they have ever had.

Runs by itselfFollow-ups fire on schedule, duplicates are flagged for merge, and consent lives on the record so marketing never texts someone who opted out.

Catalog

Every product with price, cost, margin, stock and status — plus placement: the menu paths and collections that let a shopper find it. Kits derive their stock from components.

Runs by itselfSet it Active and it is on the store, in the sitemap and in the shopping feeds. No export, no publish step.

Channels

Merchant Center health destination by destination, plus the live feed URLs for Google, Google local, Google vehicle, Meta and Bing — and an exclusions feed for anything held out of paid Shopping.

Runs by itselfFeeds regenerate on a schedule; a daily heartbeat re-touches offers so they cannot expire.
For dealers

Your lot · serialized inventory

Serialized trailers and vehicles: VIN, stock number, model code, landed cost, days on the lot, title status, photos. Model codes, weight ratings and fee rules live here too.

Runs by itselfMark one in stock and it enters the vehicle feed. Sell it and it retires itself out.
For dealers

Titling & paperwork

State title application, manufacturer’s certificate of origin with a controlled form range, the police book, and sequential stock numbers issued at intake.

Runs by itselfForms fill from the unit record and the next control number is issued in sequence.

Purchasing · Forecaster

Every part scored on its own sell-through and its own supplier lead time, then sorted into tiers — critical, urgent, buy soon, dead — and grouped by supplier with a Create PO button each.

Runs by itselfIt re-runs the whole catalog on a schedule off real sales history and writes draft POs with the quantities worked out.

Purchase orders & receiving

Draft, sent, received. Receiving credits stock, sets the new landed cost and stamps the vendor. Supplier contacts, a vendor scorecard, RMAs and cycle counts sit alongside.

Runs by itselfReceiving is the only thing that creates inventory. Nobody can quietly type a number into a stock field.

Service desk & work orders

Work orders and repair orders on a stage board with a scheduler, inspections, warranties and vendor claims behind the same desk. A tech asking for a part becomes a tracked request that turns into a purchase order.

Runs by itselfApprovals go out as a text with a link. The customer taps approve and the job moves stage.

Reputation

Reviews published on your own pages, with moderation — approve, reject, or answer as the owner. The ratings and the search value belong to you, not a rented widget.

Runs by itselfThe ask goes out after pickup, only to customers who consented, once each, with an opt-out honoured for good.

Marketing desks

A Google desk, a social desk and a combined view. Campaigns, feed health, site analytics and search terms on one screen, with every order and booking attributed back to the ad that produced it.

Runs by itselfSpend and results pull in daily. The assistant writes plain-English suggestions with the reasoning attached — suggestions only.

Marketplaces

List to eBay straight from the catalog, with a fee guard on eBay that refuses any category not free to list — deny by default. Facebook Marketplace posts are built from the record.

Runs by itselfeBay quantities push on a half-hourly sweep and paid eBay orders drop into the same ledger as the walk-in ticket.

Website & storefront

Your own site on your own domain: categories, services, product pages with reviews, booking, guides, pages, a sitemap and site search.

Runs by itselfIf it is not sellable it is not merchandised. An abandoned cart triggers a recovery message — only to a shopper who gave consent.

Findability & search insights

What shoppers typed into your site search and what happened next — zero results, clicked nothing, found a wall. Titles, menu paths and collections are managed where the product is.

Runs by itselfSearch terms and outcomes record themselves; the catalog editor flags a product nothing on the site links to.

Reports

Revenue trend, mix by department, sales by channel, tender mix, top products and services, inventory turn, live web analytics, search insight and cart recovery.

Runs by itselfReporting clocks off the moment payment cleared, so a closed month never moves. Ask a question in plain English and it builds the report.

Money & compliance

Receivables aged by bucket, payables, card batches and settlement, sales-tax rules and nexus by state computed live at the cart, and an end-of-day close.

Runs by itselfTax computes against the shipping address at checkout, and the day’s tenders reconcile from the tickets that made them.

Mobile app & widget

A native Android app on your team’s phones, the same app on an iPhone home screen, and a widget carrying today’s revenue, margin, sessions and ad spend.

Runs by itselfAlerts and the widget ride the same signed session as the app, so there is no second login.

Settings & controls

Staff accounts and role permissions with an audit trail across every capability, print templates, receipt and label hardware, notification rules you edit, backups with a restore drill, and an AI cost meter with a daily cap.

Runs by itselfBackups run and verify nightly; the job-health page tells you when something stopped running.

Industry deep dive · dealers

A trailer is not bought in one click. So don’t ask for one.

Most platforms can sell a bearing kit. Almost none can sell the thing on the lot. For trailer, marine, powersports and auto dealers, Opensign sells units the way units actually sell: a fixed deposit holds it, the balance is due at delivery, and the paperwork comes out of the same record.

  1. The quote carries a pay link — alwaysA quote a customer cannot act on goes cold. Parts quotes link to the full amount. A quote containing a unit links to the deposit instead, with the terms stated above the form.
  2. Or the shopper reserves it from the websiteThe trailer’s own page on your store takes the same deposit, on the same payment screen, with the same trust marks as your checkout.
  3. The deposit clears and the system binds a VINIt takes the oldest free unit of that model, holds it for three business days, and writes the balance order with the deposit already applied. If none is free, the line becomes a tracked waiting-build instead of a promise you cannot keep.
  4. Freight is quoted, never guessedUnits ship by freight quote, not by a parcel table. Oversize rigid goods are pickup-only store-wide, and the storefront simply never offers shipping on them.
  5. The paperwork prints from the recordState title application, MCO, police book and stock number all come off intake. The paperwork is a by-product, not a second job.
  6. Sold means gone, everywhereThe unit retires itself out of the vehicle feed, the storefront and the marketplace listings. There is never a live listing for a trailer that left the lot.

On the phone

Take the whole business with you

Opensign installs on your Android phones and tablets as a real app, and sits on an iPhone home screen with the same alerts. It is not a cut-down companion with three screens.

  • A widget that answers the question before you ask itToday’s revenue, real gross margin, sessions and ad spend on the home screen. The margin-to-ad-spend ratio is computed from your own ledger — not the number the ad platform reports about itself.
  • An alert that lands on the order, not on a home screenNew orders, bookings, payments, missed calls and holds arrive as native push notifications. Tap one and the order opens — the record itself, not a list.
  • The whole app works away from the deskRegister, orders, inbox, schedule and work orders are all responsive, so someone on a job site can take photos with the phone camera straight into the record.
  • Prove the alerts are aliveA push channel that quietly stops is worse than no alerts, because you trust it. The bell panel carries a send-a-test check: press it, feel the phone buzz, know it works today.

One signed session covers the app, the widget and the alerts. There is no second password, no separate mobile account, and no third-party notification app to install and manage.

Opensign running on a phone: the same home dashboard with today's takings, ready for pickup, unfulfilled, open balances and the trailer pipeline stacked two-up, a revenue chart below, and a bottom tab bar for Home, Orders, Register, Products and Menu.

The same system, same session, on the device already in your pocket.

Why this is different

Seven things no bolt-on stack can do

Not another DMS. The whole operating system. A program that only tracks the deal leaves everything else to other subscriptions. Opensign runs the website, the money, the inbox and the floor from one set of records.

01

The website is not a plugin

Any business, any catalog: no second database, no nightly sync, no export and no publish step. “Is it live on the site?” stops being a support ticket and becomes a line in the product editor.

02

Big-ticket sales and bookings, handled

Every quote carries a pay link. Deposits hold a unit or a booking. Memberships and rent bill on their own. A dealer gets VIN binding and title paperwork; a clinic gets booking and reminders. Same system.

03

Every way a customer reaches you

Texts, calls, email and web leads land in one thread list against the right customer. A missed call gets a text back within a minute. Replies are drafted from your own business knowledge and wait for a human.

04

Ad desks that rank by gross profit

Return on ad spend flatters you. These desks rank campaigns by the gross profit they actually brought in, using true paid attribution back to orders, so a high-revenue low-margin campaign cannot hide.

05

The analysis arrives as an order

For businesses that stock inventory, the forecaster does not hand you a report to read. It hands you draft purchase orders, grouped by supplier, quantities worked out.

06

The business fits on the home screen

A native Android app, the same system on an iPhone home screen, a widget with today’s margin read from your ledger, and push alerts that open the record on tap — on the same signed session as the app.

07

Built in a real business, not in a lab

Opensign was built inside a working Michigan trailer dealership and now runs a healthcare practice and a property manager too. Every rule in it exists because something went wrong once and had to stop going wrong.

For product sellers

List it once. It’s live everywhere.

If you sell things off a shelf, one product record is a counter line, a web page and a shopping feed at the same time. A bearing kit, a bag of feed and a stove pipe all go through exactly the same save.

Local Shopping

Google Local Inventory puts what is on your shelf right now onto Maps and Search, from the same feed that carries the rest of the catalog. There is no spreadsheet to build and no second stock number to keep in step.

Runs by itselfThe feed and the store code regenerate on a schedule; Channels shows the health of each destination and names the offers held up.

Product Pages Built For Search

One record drives the title tag, the meta description, the canonical, the structured data, the image alt text, the sitemap entry, the guide links and the site-search insights. The editor tells you when nothing on the site links to a product.

Runs by itselfAlt text is written only where it is missing, never over the top of yours; the sitemap and the schema rebuild off the record you saved.

One Counter And One Website

Register, web orders, fulfillment, returns and reviews all read the same rows. A web sale is not re-keyed at the counter, a counter sale does not leave the website advertising stock you just sold, and a review lands on your own product page.

Runs by itselfStock is reserved at checkout, tax is computed live at the cart, and the review request goes out after the order is delivered.
A Google local search result for a local store, showing the business name, rating, address and hours, and beneath them a blue check with the line: In stock: Trailer Bearing Kit — Updated 1 day ago. Simulated dealer listing.
How a shopper sees it: the local pack with the in-stock badge Opensign’s local inventory feed puts there. Illustrative.

How it runs

No server to patch. No backup you forgot.

Opensign runs on Cloudflare’s edge network. There is nothing in your building to keep alive, nothing to update on a Sunday, and no box that fails on the busiest Saturday of the year.

Edge, everywhere

Pages and the staff app are served close to whoever opened them. The staff app is fast on your connection and your website is fast for a customer three states away.

Your tenant is yours

Multi-tenant by design and isolated per business: separate data, separate keys, separate website and separate feeds. Nothing in the platform is written against one business’s name.

Backups that prove themselves

A nightly backup with an offsite copy, and a restore drill that reports a pass or a failure with the row count. A backup nobody has ever restored is not a backup.

Attributable by person

Staff roles gate every money-touching capability, with an audit trail behind them. If the answer to “who voided that” is a shrug, you do not have a system.
